Zola offers fun and informative one to one private singing lessons focused on the needs of each individual student, whether it be for technical development, professional/academic/audition preparation, confidence building, amateur dramatics, or simply the joy of singing. Zola is a London based singer/actor with an extensive background in singing performance. She has a bachelor's degree in classical singing from Wilfrid Laurier University, with a specialty in vocal performance, and a masters in Musical Theatre from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS). Zola also worked for many years in music and musical theatre prior to her masters degree at RCS. Her background at Wilfrid Laurier University also expanded her knowledge of vocal health and anatomy and prevention and treatment of vocal injuries.
Zola’s teaching and performing experience allows her types of teaching to be quite varied. Her wide knowledge of musical theatre, pop, and classical music can also aid students to broaden their personal repertoire. Zola’s lessons are suitable whether you are looking to prepare for an audition, work on technical advancement, coach amateur dramatics material, or discover what your voice can do for your own enjoyment. Music is for everyone, and Zola strives to allow all students the opportunity to improve whilst also meeting them where they are at.
